More Love Letters and Day-Brighteners

There is a great line in the song, "Once in a lifetime", by the Talking Heads: "You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here". If you really want to know "how did I get here" and make substantive changes in your life, then schedule a session with Dr. Will Joel Friedman. You can spend many a dollar on educating yourself through MBA programs and the like...however, the best return on investment (ROI) is with Dr. Will...by far. Take a look at his web site for a preview of how he may assist you. Good Luck and Godspeed. Cheers,
—Joe Gorfinkle, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Dear Dr. Friedman,
How are you?? I am doing better than ever and I owe it to you! I wouldn't be able to do any of this without your help and I am truly grateful.
—Jenelle Dronkers, Pleasanton, California

Hey there,
Hi. My name is Cole McCaslin. Your videos are great! Thank you for sharing. So I'm curious. You are so in tune with how life is and how it's lived, do you feel secure and fulfilled in your life? And how do you speak so clearly on God and make it make sense so well? You must be a pretty happy guy. I'm just asking (because) I'm 26 and doing a lot of soul searching and trying to find my place (because) I feel so much anxiety and fearfullness pertaining to living in the relative. I yearn to experience different things in life, but for some weird reason I'm afraid to make a move even though I want to soo bad man. Even though everything you say makes sense and feels good to hear, I hope one day I can be in a space in life where you are. Thanks again.
—Cole McCaslin, United States

Happy late Birthday Doc!! I am sure you enjoy every minute!! I have been using "Dr. Friedman-isms" lately! Hope your ears have been ringing. I had really good girlfriend therapy sessions this past week. I still ask myself what you would ask me or tell me. You have been such a huge part of my life. To another wonderful year!!! Many blessing to you and your family. Thank you for being a great catalyst in our lives.
—Norma Cardona, Corvallis, Oregon

You gave me some inspirational words.... I just wanted to take the time and tell you I appreciate you... and that I have only found very interesting things on your site. You weren't lying, there is definitely a lot here to read, watch, and learn, and so far I've enjoyed all of it. It is great to see how passionate you are in your work - as that is very inspiring. Thanks again, and I hope someday to run into you again...
—Katelyn, Pleasanton, California

Dr. Friedman,
Your positive and practical messages for healing are exactly the kind of hopeful information and motivation that one can only hope to find in their personal therapist. Thank you for offering a wonderful resource.

Hi Joel,
I enjoyed your article on parenting at Mentalhelp.net [article: willjoelfriedman.com/articles/articToolsCPF-Greatest.html] and your warm videos and inviting website. I was delighted to see we share the same views. (I got the newsletter because I blog for them also). I’ve a Jungian—spiritual p.o.v. and am passionate about helping people, especially women, find their voices and becoming themselves, as Nietzsche wrote—simple, but not easy—and also been my journey. I’d enjoy meeting you if you are ever in the Los Angeles area—looked like you grew up here.
Sincerely,
—Darlene Lancer, M.A., MFT, J.D.

I have spent the greater part of my life, until I met you, trying to understand why I dwell on things the way I do and why I have a hard time letting go of grudges. I have also spent that same time denying that I have a problem and placing blame on everyone else. I am finding balance.... I am learning to take it one day at a time and I am striving to live in the moment. I am optimistic about the future and the personal change that will come with time. Thank you for helping me see that "It's just not fair," [article: willjoelfriedman.com/articles/articToolsFEY-Notfair.html] and I am fortunate to have made it as far as I have today.
Graciously Yours,
—Michael Patin, Brentwood, CA

I'd just like to thank you for all your informative and amusing videos on self & ego. I witnessed dissolvement of my own ego in a ketamine induced state (accidentally and unexpected!) and your speeches have helped me to understand the truth! As you could probably guess; what I thought I experienced I wasn't and what I thought was 31 years of free choice was merely my entire life merely slaved to my ego, a set of concepts and illusions! Your videos helped to understand myself better and have given me great insight into how I can choose the best path! Thanks.
—Marcus John, Cardiff, United Kingdom (UK)

I want to surrender to my exhaustion and have the courage to stop bullying myself. I know that the textures of life are wondrous and I want to be. I am glad to have read your piece [article: Needless: You Can Have Almost Anything You Want (So Long As You Don't Need It)] about letting go of need; it's like a sign pointing the wrong way.
—Helen Geoghegan, Hanwell, London, Great Britain

Thanks for your fabulous article on unhealthy attachments [article: Needless: You Can Have Almost Anything You Want (So Long As You Don't Need It)]. Please write more like this about attachment in relationships. I found it very helpful and healthy. I sent it to all my healthy friends and colleagues. Cheers. Blessings.
—Susan Athaide, Psychologist, Melbourne, Australia

I already feel a certain comfort level with you. And again—your website is excellent I really do feel as if you are an old friend.
—Scott Baldwin, East San Francisco Bay Area

Thank you for teaching me how to live in the present. My life has changed drastically since I met you. Take care.
—Matt Dronkers, Pleasanton, California

Superb website Will, am excited to read more. Am very interested in your book, do you have any idea when it might be ready. Thank you.
—Paul Taylor, Stockport, Cheshire, United Kingdom

Your website is quite impressive! I am in and have been in relationship with a number of passive-agressive personality types, and it is reassuring to know that there is help for all of us to find ways of living peacably, in the moment, no matter what our circumstances.
—Kristen Valperga, San Ramon, California

I would like to congratulate Dr. Friedman for his fine work and dedication to introducing a very complex undertaking in making ancient ideas of living a balanced life blend and become workable with clinical psychology practice. In a time when the world is in such rapid transition most everyone’s anxiety, caused by fear of the unknown, is extremely high. Since the antidote for anxiety is information, Dr. Friedman’s approach to therapy brings the right blend of information and tools to help clients discover more choices for the complex issues they are dealing with. Working with Dr. Friedman will definitely boost your emotional, social, and transpersonal intelligence. I would also recommend viewing his most informative and well designed website. I appreciated the ease of navigating his website, the quality of the articles and the relevancy and usefulness of the innumerable links. Keep up this important work Dr. Will!!
—Marc Berke, Ph.D., MFT, Danville, CA

It was a pleasure to meet you at the Paradoxica conference in Lethbridge Last week. I enjoyed your presentation at the conference, and have read and re-read your Paradoxica article, which really resonated for me. I look forward to seeing you again at the 2nd annual Paradoxica conference.
—Chris Rawlinson, Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada

Hello Dr. Friedman, I read your 22 page pdf [Featured article: "Surrender All To Consciousness To Reveal the Self"] and could really relate to it. Very nice and inspiring.

Dear Dr. Will,
I really can't thank you enough... I have huge chunks of my life back now and am so grateful for myself and Chloe (daughter). Things are challenging right now, yet I am not lost and all is well. Yes, I keep showing up to do the work, but I have an excellent place to show up too! Much love & gratitude,
—Jeff Fitzmyers, Lafayette, CA
